He was the founding member of Boone Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, a leader in providing Ear, Nose and Throat services in NW North Carolina since 1990. Dr. Ellis was named the Employer of the Year for 2005 by the Area Chamber of Commerce and received the Governor's Award of Excellence for the state of North Carolina for his contributions to education in the state.

Dr. Ellis has a passion for Pediatric ENT, care for nose and sinus problems, and care for thryoid and parathyroid problems and minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery.

He and his wife Langhorne have been married since 1977 and have three lovely North Carolina daughters.
